Captain’s Courses in Croatia and Skipper’s Licence

Kurzy jachtingu s vybranými lektory

The description of the course and training is: mastering a boat, learning navigation and rules for avoiding boats’ contact at sea, reading nautical maps, marking of nautical ways, radio communication, international law and meteorology basics.

The course is divided into two phases. The first begins in the Czech republic with the theory. The course will continue in Croatia with the practical part. During the practical course there will be a possibility of acquiring a captain’s licenceby an exam at a Croatian captain office in Czech or English language.

The captain’s licence will be issued after passing the exam. This licence gives one a competence to steer a sail or motor boat up to 12 m of length or 15 tons of displacement (one of the figures can be exceeded). Thus, you will fulfil the requirements for steering almost all charter boats. The licence gives one a competence to steer a boat in the territorial waters of Croatia. Similarly, it may be recognized in other countries.
